Smoking Cessation Support Supporting smoking cessation in Sheffield Our smoking cessation service is part of a city wide programs designed to help adults, young people, and pregnant women quit smoking. We know that its not easy and we We understand that smoking is often linked to managing stress, anxiety, and daily routines. That’s why our approach is compassionate, person-centred, and designed specifically with mental health in mind. Through our dedicated Smoke Free Community Worker, we provide: One-to-one support to help you access local stop smoking services, including attending appointments alongside you if needed Practical guidance on preparing to quit, managing cravings, and building healthier habits Peer support groups, where you can share experiences, build motivation, and stay on track in a welcoming and non-judgemental space Drop-in sessions at our Wellbeing Centre, with additional online support to make access as flexible as possible Connections to wider mental health support, ensuring you feel supported throughout your journey Working in partnership We work closely with Smokefree Sheffield and local community partners to make sure you can easily access the right help, at the right time. Our service is inclusive and accessible, with a particular focus on supporting people experiencing mental health conditions and those from communities where smoking rates are higher.
