If you would like to relieve some pressure and require assistance with managing your direct payment or employing Personal Assistants (PAs), Sheffield Mind’s Managed Account and Payroll Service can help.

Sheffield Mind are pleased to offer the following low-cost services for those in receipt of a Direct  Payment from Sheffield City Council:

• Money Managed Account: Helping you to manage your direct payment and paying invoices/ Self-employed PAs wages on your behalf.
  Payroll service: Providing administrative support for the employment of PAs including all payroll processing, HMRC, auto enrolment processing, year-end processing and starters and leavers throughout the year.

The Support Plan Coordinator will liaise with Sheffield City Council and arrange to have your Direct Payment paid into your Managed Account where it can be kept safe and invoices for your support can be paid.

We will organise all the paperwork needed to release your Direct Payment, making sure everything is processed efficiently. We will ensure that bills are paid on time and investigate any unexpected costs.  We offer a person-centred approach, sensitive to the needs of our clients, ensuring we build a strong and lasting relationship. Our Payroll Service is available as a standalone or with a managed account. Our Payroll Service is there to assist with the employment of PAs so you can focus on maintaining your mental health and wellbeing.

The process begins when your Support Plan and Direct Payment budget have been agreed by your Social Worker or Care Coordinator, and you have chosen the option of Sheffield Mind as your preferred Money Management Company and/or Payroll Service. We offer a competitive cost for our services:

Managed Account only:	£358.43 per year (no set up fee)
Payroll Initial Set up Fee:	£182 per PA
Payroll Service:	£21.86 per PA/per month
Managed account and payroll (with 10% discount):
Managed Account :	£322.59  per year
Payroll Set up Fee:	£182 per PA
Payroll Service:	£19.67 per PA/per month payroll
