Yannes came to work with us on a 60 Hour Placement from the University of Sheffield Management School. We tasked her with helping us to develop a new product to add to our small range of merchandise and to research cost of manufacture, design and material options and ways that we can increase sales by rebooting web content and identifying new sales outlets.

She found all the necessary information we needed to compare and contrast styles,sizes, colours,  costs and environmental credentials until we finally plumped for the following, which you can buy from the website and from the Sheffield Makers outlet at Hunters Bar.

In the brief time she was with us, she helped revamp the merchandise pages on the website - making sure that the items looked attractive and that the copy provided all the information a potential buyer might be looking for.

Although her time with Sheffield Mind was broef we asked how she had found the experience and she told us,

'I had a great time working for Sheffield Mind over the past two weeks. Being able to observe the inner workings of a local charity was fascinating. I would like to highlight the warmth and support of all staff, whose welcoming demeanour helped me to ease my nerves as a newbie, enabling me to provide the highest quality work within a short period of time.'
