Support and Information pack We are proud to present our Support and Information Pack — and to share the journey behind its creation. This resource was developed in response to feedback from our 2024 Annual Survey, where a counselling client suggested that “a post-counselling support group would be useful.” While we weren’t able to create a group at this time, we instead developed a Support and Information Pack to help clients as they finish counselling and move forward. Service users were at the heart of this process. We shared the first draft at our Mind Forward, Service User Involvement session, Feb 2025, where participants reviewed both digital and printed copies. Their feedback shaped key changes — from softening the title, to removing less useful content, adding QR codes, and increasing focus on ongoing support. A revised version was then shared with our Service User Representative volunteers, who took it home for a deeper review. In a follow-up meeting, they suggested more self-care ideas, recovery planning tools, crisis helplines, and a colouring sheet. While we kept our branding consistent, we implemented most of their ideas. This pack is the result of meaningful collaboration with our service users. Our goal was to ensure this pack is both appropriate and relevant in supporting everyone's journey and recovery. Whether you’re continuing your journey with us in a new way or exploring other options, we hope you find this resource supportive, relevant, and empowering. servicesupportandinformationpack.pdf Find out more about some of the different services at Sheffield Mind.
