News and events Curtain up on Butter Side Up It was a pleasure to meet with Charlie and Anthony from Butter Side Up Theatre Company to thank them for their recent donation to Sheffield Mind. They kindly popped in to see us, following the premiere of “Time at the Bar”, an original production written and directed by Charlie. The show was a fantastic success, with 90% of tickets sold before curtain up on opening night – an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work of the cast, crew, and everyone involved with the company. It was great to sit down with Charlie and Anthony to learn more about the company and why supporting a local cause mattered so much to them. As a group, they were keen to support a charity close to their hearts and chose Sheffield Mind because of their shared commitment to raising awareness and supporting positive mental health. They kindly organised an audience collection during the performance and we would like to thank everyone that donated for their kindness and generosity. It was also great to hear more about the group and how supportive the company is of one another, both on and off the stage. If you want to know more about the company or to get tickets for their next performance, 'Seussical The Musical' check out the website for further details. It’s always amazing to see people using their creative talents to shine a spotlight on the work we do, and we’re hugely grateful to the cast and crew for thinking of us. If you’re planning an event or activity and would like to support Sheffield Mind, we’d love to hear from you.
