Many people assume that we are only looking for people with experience of mental health to support the work we do but there are plenty of roles behind the scenes that require very different skills.

In addition to supporting service delivery we have opportunities for people to work on promotion, to help facilitate events, to fundraise and to help with practical tasks such as maintenance and gardening.

We provide long and short term placements for students looking for work experience to enhance their studies, have roles for people who have time to spare and are are looking to use the skills they have gained during their careers and also have opportunities for people who can't commit regularly but like to get involved on an ad hoc basis when time and work commitments allow.

Please note that we only accept applications for current positions advertised on this site. General applications will not be considered as have limited capacity and can't - much as we woudl ike - to take on everyone that wants to volunteer with us. All prospective volunteers are asked to complete an application form and to attend an interview so we can find out a bit more about you and you can find out more about us and what a role entails. We generally ask for a minimum six-month commitment from all volunteers except for fundraising volunteers where there is no minimum commitment.

We support our volunteers with regular one to one and group supervision and each and everyone working with us gets a comprehensive induction and core training.
