About us Venue hire Venue Hire - Available Spaces The Wellbeing Centre is a familiar local landmark that has served the community in Sharrow for over thirty years - first as a pub (The Cross Guns/Tuxedo Blue) and then a Surestart. Its long been a hub for the community and for positive wellbeing activity we have introduced new and quirky elements to make the service users experience a positive one. It's a warm and welcoming space providing a range of facilities to visitors and service users. The space is adaptable and can be tailored to suit your needs, whether they be professional or social. Catering facilities are available and we can also provide light refreshments on request. This venue provides: A fully accessible venue with a lift to all floors A staffed reception where attendees can register and wait for sessions to start Wi-Fi available throughout A small car park for disabled visitors – bookable in advance Street parking and excellent links to public transport Reception: Our reception area is a warm and welcoming space for visitors to meet and chat prior to meetings or events. Our reception staff can provide refreshments and information and direct guests to the appropriate space. Having staff on hand to receive visitors makes the Wellbeing Centre a perfect place for interviews or conferencing, as we can take on some of the hosting duties, ensuring the very highest standards of customer care. Therapy Suite : We have a counselling suite consisting of five consultation rooms. The rooms differ in size but all are warm and intimate and feature comfortable and attractive furnishings, natural light and privacy. The rooms are available at a cost of £10.00 per hour and can be booked long term subject to availability. The spaces are perfect for counselling / therapeutic work. The Garden Room - Training Suite : We have a self contained basement that is perfect for training events or away days but also adaptable enough to accommodate therapy sessions such as yoga or mindfulness The room is adaptable and can accommodate groups pf up to 45 people depending on layout and users have access to our outdoor space which is currently under development. Group Meeting Room : We have a creative therapy space which is regularly used for art and craft activities but is also perfect for group meetings, presentations, social groups and events.
