The road may have been bumpy at times BUT we made it to the end, here are a few key milestones to consider when thinking about starting your own journey

Key things to note:

• It helps to get the support of your management team and Board, so appropriate resources can be allocated to the process and you and your team have time enough to work on it
• Don't go it alone, recruit a team of staff/volunteers that can take on tasks so one person is not responsible for the whole process 
• Appoint a champion that can be the go between with staff who have questions or concerns and can take the lead on certain elements such as providing a menopause care box (similar to a  first aid box but with relevant resources and information)
• Bring the staff on board by sharing what you are doing and providing info sessions / training so that the approach across the board is consistent and thorough
