PLATFORM_ Partners with Sheffield Mind to Support Mental Health in Sheffield We were delighted when PLATFORM_ in Sheffield approached us to say that they had chosen Sheffield Mind as their charity of the year. Through the partnership, PLATFORM_’s onsite customer service team will host a programme of events and initiatives in collaboration with us, to raise both awareness and funds. They held their first a couple of weeks ago, inviting residents to a summer social in the apartment building they have on Sylvester Street, right in the heart of the city centre. Xinhong Hai, General Manager at PLATFORM_ in Sheffield, said: ““Mental wellbeing is an essential part of what makes a community thrive. Our partnership with Sheffield Mind is more than symbolic, it’s an active commitment to supporting our residents and neighbourhoods through awareness, education, and real-world impact. Through fundraising and shared events, we’re building environments where people feel supported, heard and empowered. That’s exactly what Nurturing Neighbourhoods is all about.”” This hands-on approach reflects PLATFORM_’s wider Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitment to social value, community engagement, and long-term neighbourhood wellbeing which is captured in its Nurturing Neighbourhoods ESG strategy which comprises 24 Commitments to Sustainable Living. By teaming up with a leading charity like Sheffield Mind, PLATFORM_ is creating meaningful opportunities for residents to give back, get involved, and build a deeper sense of belonging. Margaret Lewis, CEO Sheffield Mind, added: ““We’re thrilled to be working alongside PLATFORM_ to bring mental health to the forefront of community life. Every pound raised and every conversation started through this partnership helps break down stigma and brings us closer to a society where everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support they need. Together, we’re building awareness, connection, and hope.”” Manage Cookie Preferences
