Sijo currently works at FURD (Football Unites Racism Divides Educational Trust) where he leads a sport for development programme focused on supporting health and well-being, education, and community cohesion. His work bridges sport and social impact, creating opportunities for individuals and communities to thrive.

He brings to the board a wealth of knowledge about local communities, a strong commitment to promoting positive mental health, and a deep understanding of grassroots engagement. Sijo is also an avid cricketer and brings valuable insight into the role of sport in building resilience, inclusion, and connection.
