The Open Mind’s social was back this morning and it was and bigger and better than ever!

Everyone was welcome, and we had  staff, service users and  members of the public joining us for a bite to eat, a decent brew and a chat about what we as an organisation do well, what we can do better, what more needs to be done and what we have planned for the future.

Although these social events are intended to be are informal, with the emphasis being very much on the fun and friendly side of things, they do provide a valuable opportunity for service users to talk to staff and trustees about their experiences and to share ideas for improvement. 

Gathering feedback from our service users is crucial to helping us understand what we are doing well, what we might do different and where there might be gaps in our service. It also helps us develop and refine services to ensure they are appropriate and provide for people's needs. The information provided can also help us to identify where there might be shortfalls in available services which we can then work to resolve - subject to resources.

We hope to host similar events throughout the year and hope to see you all there.
