Can you believe a week has already passed since 150 elves took to Hillsborough Park to complete our Mental Elf Festive Fun Run? 

The weather may have been a little miserable, but the rain certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of everyone taking part. As you can see from the photos, participants truly dressed to impress!

It was a joy to see so many people coming together, cheering one another on and celebrating everyone who completed the course. Times were not the focus of the event — this run was all about fun, inclusion and enjoying the festive atmosphere. Our elves definitely put the FUN into the run!

We are hugely grateful to everyone who signed up for the race and to all those who secured sponsors to support their efforts. The results were amazing and will make a real difference.

A big thank you also goes to the team at Hillsborough Park Run, who provided invaluable resources and advice — and even joined in the race themselves after completing their own run. Now that’s commitment!

All the money raised from the event will be invested directly into the mental health services we provide across the city. Every penny raised will help us continue to support people when they need it most.

We were incredibly proud and inspired by everyone who took part, so much so that we’ve decided to do it all again next year!
