We are thrilled to introduce our new peer support group Mind Forward.

Join us for a cake party Monday 7th October, 2:00pm - 4:00pm to celebrate the launch of our new peer support group.

Mind Forward is an informal peer support group designed to help people get the support and advice they need to make progress in their recovery. Sessions offer users a safe and welcoming space in which to discuss their situation and get the information and support they need to make positive changes, try new approaches and identify services which can help them…

Mind Forward offers:

  • a warm friendly atmosphere
  • trained volunteers available to offer support, advice and information
  • encouragement and support to try new things
  • the opportunity to make friends
  • the chance to talk to people who have lived experience of mental health issue

Trying new things in safe spaces/ environments with trusted staff and volunteers can give people the confidence they need to overcome barriers to engagement elsewhere and volunteers will encourage people to get involved and support them to take the first steps.

Each Monday 2:00pm - 4:00pm we offer an opportunity to try or learn new things.

Please see below a schedule of our upcoming activities
