Art Therapy Group We are delighted to be working with our friends at FURD on an exciting new Art Therapy project, Group Art Therapy offers a supportive and creative space where individuals come together to explore thoughts and feelings through art-making. You don’t need any previous experience of art-making as the sessions are about self expression and how we can use different means and materials to say something about ourselves and how we are feeling. Working in a group also builds a sense of community and solidarity and helps people connect through a shared activity and experience. Group sessions tend to be lively and participants gain in confidence from working together. This project will be available to FURD service users, and the wider refugee and asylum seeker community. This will be a mixed gender group for adults over 18 and referral is essential. You can complete the referral form online using the following https://forms.office.com/e/giikpNdir3 or ask at the Umix reception for a form.
