Environmental Impact Commitment to Environmental and Social Value We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and creating positive social value within our community. As part of this, we maintain an Environmental Policy and an annual checklist to help us review and improve how we reduce, reuse, and recycle across our services. We actively encourage staff and people who use our services to travel to the Wellbeing Centre in more sustainable ways, such as by public transport, cycling, or walking wherever possible. Listening to feedback from our team has been an important part of this journey. In response to concerns about plastic use, we introduced glass milk bottle deliveries and invested in a water cooler, significantly reducing our reliance on single-use plastics. We have also taken steps to minimise paper use by moving away from paper-based records wherever possible. Where paper is still needed, we ensure it is managed responsibly through secure shredding and regular recycling, helping us reduce waste while maintaining confidentiality. In addition, we source office supplies and services from local providers. This not only supports the local economy but also helps reduce travel distances and unnecessary fuel consumption. We recognise that small, consistent changes can make a meaningful difference. By embedding sustainable practices into our everyday work, we are working towards a more environmentally responsible and socially conscious organisation. Manage Cookie Preferences
