We may have submitted our accreditation documentation but the work does not stop here and we are busy devising ways in which we can improve staff training, can promote what we are doing to staff and service users to demonstrate that Sheffield Mind has a genuine commitment to making the workplace more Menopause Friendly.

Menopause awareness has built into staff induction and all incoming staff are required to read and to apply the policy and also the guidelines that we have created to accommodate staff with symptoms.

Our menopause policy works in tandem with our health and wellbeing and flexible working policies to ensure all reasonable adjustments are made in individual cases.

We will be sure to share any new or innovative ideas we come across or any regulations taht we become aware of, to help staff stay well informed.
