My Name is Amy, I have a Master's degree in Developmental Psychology and an Undergraduate Degree in Education, Psychology and Counselling and have considerable experience in providing wellbeing support and delivering the Supported Self-Help programme.

I believe that struggles with mental health can happen to anybody and at any point in a persons life.  And if they start it can feel very difficult to move forward or know where to start to improve wellbeing and quality of life again.

However, I believe it is important to focus on taking small steps towards a goal or recovery and finding strategies or practical methods that can be used to help manage and improve your general wellbeing.

If you are currently struggling with your mental health, I can offer one to one support through the Supported Self-Help Programme. Working with you to develop a well-being tool kit of different self-help tools and strategies so that you can make the first steps to improving your mental well-being.

There are 8 pathways of support I can offer to help with your mental wellbeing including:

  • Anxiety and panic attacks
  • Low mood and depression
  • Low self esteem
  • Managing stress
  • Grief and Loss
  • Loneliness
  • Menopause and Understanding menopause

I will support you with your chosen pathway and we will work together within our sessions to find the best resources and build up your own self help tool kit to help improve your mental health.
