I’m supporting Sheffield Mind for several reasons:

I’ve worked with the charity often including in my current role at FURD and love the way they work in and with the local community. I was born and raised in Sharrow and have seen some of the struggles people go through.

After having Cancer when I was 20, I’ve had my own struggles with mental health and know how important it is to have someone to talk to when you are at your lowest. As a man I understand how people bottle up their emotions and cut people off! This needs to change!

I've never considered myself as a runner, but when Sheffield Mind asked me to run on their behalf, I felt honoured! And - I never could resist a challenge!

It would mean a lot to me and help motivate me to complete the race, if you could show your support with a donation. It doesn't matter what the size, every penny makes a difference and every penny will be used to support people in our fair city of Sheffield.
